Responsibilities & Requirements

In this high-visibility role, you will act as a business partner for Sales Senior Leadership in identifying areas of improvement, driving forecast, tracking pipeline, and playing a collaborative role in providing the necessary visibility for Revenue Leadership to successfully plan and drive their business goals (e.g. ad hoc reports, data discovery, etc).   

 

Prefer candidates to be location to the Washington, DC or Austin, TX office, but will consider fully remote for the right candidate.  

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, measure, and maintain analytical excellence for sales teams including Key Performance Indicators (KPI) to understand Sales bookings and pipeline performance
  • Produce weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting as required
  • Cover core areas such as reporting and analytics on sales performance, providing insights supporting accurate forecasting, and efforts like territory carving and annual planning
  • Build and maintain high-visibility dashboards to consistently monitor performance and identify trends in the business
  • Develop narratives and recommendations from analyses, build presentations, and present findings to business stakeholders
  • Build relationships and provide analytical guidance to key business stakeholders and leaders

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • 3+ years driving reporting and analytics processes as an individual contributor and/or team lead
  • Prior experience at a SaaS company preferred
  • Significant experience with Salesforce, specifically Salesforce reporting
  • Deep understanding of Excel or equivalent analytical tools
  • Demonstrable experience building reports and dashboards using BI visualization tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, etc)
  • Ability to navigate through and communicate complex ideas effectively to senior leadership – verbally, in writing, and presentations
  • Strong interpersonal skills and experience building strong internal and external relationships
  • Knowledge of common pipeline (Sales) principles (e.g. Sales Funnel, Forecast Category, Conversion %, etc)
  • Passionate about helping organizations understand and solve large scale business challenges through reporting and analytics and streamlining operational efforts
  • Ability to thrive in an action-oriented, fast paced, and diverse work environment
