Responsibilities & Requirements

Are you passionate about helping nonprofits do more good in the world? Do you have a good understanding of nonprofit fundraising, a knack for solving problems, intuitive with software tools, and strong leadership skills? 

If so, we’d love to talk to you about joining the EveryAction team. 

This is a contract role where as a member of our Client Services team, you will serve on the front line of support alongside an experienced team that is already supporting great clients like Planned Parenthood, Covenant House International, EMILY’s List, United Nations Foundation, Save the Redwoods, NAACP, Everytown, LGBTQ Victory Fund, and Audubon. Not only will you be supporting our clients with your exceptional customer service skills, but you’ll also be conducting web-based training and getting new customers up and running with our tools. Our staff aren’t just people who do support or training, they are expert practitioners who make our clients able to do their social missions. 

Social mission is at the core of what we do, and we're looking for people who love our clients (and their causes) as much as we do. 

What you’re good at: 


  • You are passionate about progressive causes, are good with technology, and are willing to work with lots of different organizations that need our help. 
  • You have excellent oral and written communication skills, strong critical thinking, logical problem-solving ability, and a willingness to learn.
  • You have a professional phone manner, undying patience, proven ability to self-motivate, and demonstrated work ethic.
  • You are detail-oriented, great at following up, and don’t let things slip through the cracks.
  • You are able to work independently and flexibly to provide accurate and timely support to our clients while adhering to daily and weekly department goals.
  • You possess demonstrated ability to effectively coordinate with cross-functional team members to ensure accurate and detail-oriented responses to client inquiries.
  • Looking to work in a contract position

Bonus Points: 


  • Experience in customer relations or an equivalent field, though not required, is valued. 
  • You have used EveryAction, NGP8, VAN, and Votebuilder as part of your day-to-day responsibilities.
  • You have used other online or offline CRMs as part of your day-to-day responsibilities, such as Raiser's Edge, Salesforce NPSP, or ROI. 
  • You have a network of colleagues in the fundraising or nonprofit technology world. 
  • You enjoy research and consider yourself a lifelong learner.
