Are you a passionate innovator looking to harness the power of technology to do more good?

You’ve come to the right place! At Bonterra, our purpose is to power those who power social impact. To that end, we serve the people who make social good possible—the doers behind the scenes across nonprofits, public agencies, corporations, philanthropic organizations, and foundations.

As the second-largest and fastest-growing social good software company in the world, Bonterra brings together leading solutions from CyberGrants, EveryAction, Network for Good, Social Solutions, and their respective entities. By bringing our intuitive technology and expertise together, Bonterra will enable unprecedented connectivity between social good organizations and their community of supporters and constituents. This will reshape philanthropic giving, empower digital transformation, and bring the social good sector the technology it needs to accelerate lasting social change.

We are currently operating as a remote workforce and have equipped our teams with the technology to stay connected to each other and our customers.

Responsibilities & Requirements

What You'll Do:

We are looking for a savvy Senior Product Manager to join Network For Good, our SMB Fundraising Software arm, to help create better fundraisers. In this role you will own metrics that revolve around user acquisition for a whole suite of products – including but not limited to Activation, CAC, penetration rates and more. The ideal candidate is someone who has deep-proven experience in growth experimentation, controls a variety of data tools, is a great relationship builder and can confidently lead several work streams at once.

  • Own experiments and create clear mechanisms to test and forecast the feasibility and success of a given initiative
  • Translate complex and ambiguous business problems into crisp product strategies, roadmaps, and marketing plans, while managing prioritization and trade-offs between customer experience and time to market
  • Write product/marketing documents, requirements, user stories, product specifications, ensuring clear communication and coordination with business, design and development teams
  • Measure and analyze existing products and business models for opportunities to innovate and improve, providing additional benefits to developers and customers
  • Drive product launches including working with executives, cross functional marketing teams, and other product management team members
  • Establish innovative processes and pursue new opportunities that ultimately create disproportionate value for our customers and business

Who You Are:

You are a seasoned Growth Product Manager who loves being hands on and gets excited about quick experimentation and driving business results. You have a command of SaaS/recurring revenue software products that are discretionary for the customers (they WANT and CHOOSE to use them, they don't HAVE to use them). You love both technical teams and end-user customers and have a voracious appetite to engage both to help build the very best experiences possible.

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager in leading, shipping, and iterating on successful products with cross-functional teams
  • Two years of experience as a growth marketer or in product marketing
  • Rich experience working against growth KPIs and successfully improving them using experimentation-cycles
  • Experience developing business cases to justify your ideas, and successfully “selling” them
  • Experience in SaaS product development, with a strong “do-it-yourself” and team work ethic
  • Proven knowledge and successful track record in agile development, and Jobs-To-Be-Done
  • Deep customer empathy and customer advocacy skills
  • A highly collaborative, but decisive mindset: You know how to create an inclusive, forward-thinking environment and proactively seek diverse perspectives. And ultimately, make smart decisions that drive customer value
  • Proven analytic skills and ability to solve problems with data-driven decisions
  • Familiarity with Design Sprints, “Hook Model”, and other frameworks for Product Development.
  • Must be a student of the Product Management trade

'Nice to have' skills:

  • Expert knowledge in Pendo, Heap, or other user-analytics software
  • Product Management or Growth related certificate (Pragmatic Marketing, Reforge, etc..)
  • Experience in the non-profit / fundraising industry
  • MBA or proven entrepreneurial experience

This is a 100% remote role
