Responsibilities & Requirements

The Sales Enablement Specialist creates the tools and materials needed to accelerate the velocity and productivity of the revenue team for their prospect and customer facing interactions. The Specialist actively works to understand Bonterra’s sales, expansion, upsell and cross-sell strategy, and aligns sales assets, tools, and resources accordingly. The Specialist helps integrate to whom we sell, what we sell and how we gain a foothold and expand all of Bonterra’s solutions with our prospects & customers.  The specialist ensures we have strong templates and collaterals and creates processes & systems to ensure we have an efficient way to access, track performance and utilization of these tools.


What You'll Do:


  • Partner with Portfolio Marketing and Product Marketing teams to ensure common assets are available across all Bonterra solutions (e.g., one-pagers, product launch materials, decks) aligning with the key stages of the Sales, Renewal, Upsell and Expansion process. 
  • Help prioritize and align enablement needs by identifying sales and skill gaps and mapping creative content solutions to company priorities 
  • Create asset customization opportunities by building impactful, reusable content that is useful for all members of the team and is engaging for prospective and current clients
  • Assist with determining metrics for assessing and tracking the level of customer engagement and impact of collateral and resources
  • Support revenue teams with unique customized materials and deliverables for special scenarios
  • Streamline sales assets and materials creation process. This includes recommending and creating efficiencies in how revenue team request support, access content, refresh materials and customization for their needs
  • Support the development and maintenance of processes & systems for content requests
  • Maintain centralized, easily accessible content libraries (e.g., content management tool) where revenue team can search and leverage content and customize as appropriate
  • Collaborate closely with other members of the Revenue Training and Development team to ensure support and best practices sharing across the group
  • As directed, manage small and large projects ranging from needs assessment, design, development, content implementation to evaluations
  • Other job-related duties as assigned


  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience in marketing content development or design, preferably with a focus on sales enablement
  • Strong prioritization skills
  • Ability to work independently and to take initiative 
  • Continuous improvement mindset
  • Strong written and oral communication skills 
  • Experience with visual design tools (e.g., Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Google Slides, PowerPoint) preferred
  • Knowledge of storyboarding; experience preferred
  • Strong collaboration and prioritization skills to ensure objectives are met
  • Experience with WordPress or other Content Management System tools preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or G-Suite 
  • Experience with project management software (e.g., Wrike) preferred
  • Ability to travel up to 5%
