Responsibilities & Requirements

Responsibilities

  • This role is responsible for developing a vision/roadmap to create best-in class analytics and reporting capabilities on behalf of the organization
  • Engage with stakeholders across multiple business units to identify needs for standard dashboard and reporting requirements
  • Work with leadership on common data definitions and identification of source of truth for each business KPI and other key metrics
  • Provide high level technical expertise and understanding of data warehousing and business intelligence best practices to make recommendations and improvements
  • Recruit, train, develop and supervise analyst-level employees
  • Outline and manage data governance performance and standards, while developing and implementing operating plans to achieve those standards via audits, automation and processes
  • Provide clear path to the automation of metrics and data to the business stakeholders with a clear articulation of dependencies and asks
  • Connect the dots between different data domains and metrics to help inform data strategy and lead current state to future state impact analysis
  • Lead and participate in the ongoing development and support of revenue-wide reporting, dashboards, scorecards, predictive models, and data analysis solutions

Qualifications

  • BA or BS in Data Science/Data Analytics, Business, Computer Science or related discipline (preferred). Advanced degree a plus.
  • 7+ years' experience in Business Intelligence including data warehouse and business analytics function, including 2+ years of management experience, preferably within a SAAS company
  • Advanced Excel skills and knowledge of SQL or Python required
  • Extensive experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI (preferred)
  • Experience with Salesforce data management and reporting
  • Proven ability to create, deliver and support solutions around Business Intelligence, Data Aggregation, ETL and Data Warehousing
  • Problem solver with a strong bias for action with business acumen to see the big picture
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with ability to explain complicated or technical information in a simple way to non-technical audiences
