Responsibilities & Requirements

Bonterra is looking for an experienced Vice President, Training & Enablement as part of the Operations organization.   This individual will build out our training & enablement strategy for our teams in the operations organization, our customers, and our partners.   This leader will help support our rapidly evolving Operations organization by optimizing critical business processes and ensuring consistency in onboarding, training, and development, through effective onboarding, operations asset & tool creation & optimization. This requires collaboration with cross-functional departments and leveraging internal resources, systems, and partnerships.   Additionally, this leader will ensure appropriate training programs are built & available to deliver for our customers & partners in all segments of our business. To be considered as a candidate, you must be a strong leader, extremely well organized, analytical, detailed-oriented, customer focused, quality minded and help champion the entire Operations organization.  Significant experience leading a customer training and internal enablement team a must.

The role will support the vision of the operations leadership team and reports to our Chief Operations Officer.

Your primary responsibilities: 

  • Define, build and deliver customer facing training to ensure successful adoption & usage of our solutions for our customers & partners.
  • Experience building on-line and virtual training programs
  • Leadership with content development and training delivery teams
  • Build, manage, and launch training programs globally for Bonterra customers
  • Manage and optimize all aspects of operations readiness, development, and enablement of the operations team
  • Develop and execute strategy and training and development for our Global Operations by collaborating with Operations Leadership to include driving key initiatives
  • Be a key resource in the launch of new operations training initiatives
  • Drive success by re-engineering operations process, operations messaging, strategic account planning, operations onboarding and operations performance management
  • Work with peers to help to develop and optimize operations processes and programs as it relates to our operations toolkit to support a variety of Business Units
  • Assist in the development of key performance metrics, dashboards and reports that help the operations organization focus on performance drivers and results.
  • Use abilities to build, maintain and continuously improve relationships with Product Marketing, Product Management, Sales Enablement, and Operations
  • Be a trusted advisor and development leader to Operations Leadership

Desired skills and experience:

  • 15+ years operations training and development experience (at least 5 years at a high growth company)
  • Proven experience building, implementing, and fine-tuning operations training programs
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills, particularly to senior executives
  • Understanding of SaaS organizational operations
  • Proven leadership and facilitation of cross-functional initiatives, collaborating with Sales, Research and Development, IT, Finance, Product Marketing, Product, Marketing and Talent
  • Strong analytical, business intelligence and project management skills
  • Microsoft Suite (specifically Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Implementation & optimization Operations readiness tools
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
