Responsibilities & Requirements

The Segment Marketing Director is responsible for formulating and managing integrated, strategically-focused marketing plans to drive demand in order to achieve revenue and market segment penetration goals. The Director possesses and develops a deep understanding of assigned markets and segments to create effective go-to-market plans that drive sustainable market share. The role works closely with sales management, demand generation, brand, and partner teams to drive results and enhance sales success.


What You'll Do:

  • Create and manage overall campaign plans to drive market share of the assigned segment
  • Lead campaign planning efforts to drive engagement at all stages of the buyer's journey by managing cross-functional marketing programs, and collaborate with team leaders to coordinate efforts
  • Meet regularly with the aligned sales leaders to ensure efforts are aligned where needed most
  • Own and create messaging and value propositions designed to engage the segment
  • Works with internal and external research sources to maintain accurate market segment data and trends to drive decision-making
  • Collaborate with Product and Marketing teams on content creation needs such as white papers/guides, collateral, presentation materials, webinars, etc.
  • Prioritize go-to-market efforts to define quick wins, whitespace, and other sales opportunities
  • Drive the overall campaign activities across the organization to ensure cohesive go-to-market execution
  • Analyzes campaign performance and company impact to drive insights, and tracks/reports ROI to understand the impact on the business


Who You Are:

  • Experience managing and/or leading marketing campaigns
  • Previous experience collaborating with highly driven and growing sales teams
  • B2B software experience
  • Highly collaborative with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strategic planning/thinking
